Transfer of personal data
The processed personal data is forwarded to the following recipients for the following purpose:
- Employees of Municipal Department 27
- Municipal authority internal processors - servers and software
Data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of Article 44 GDPR (countries that are not members of the European Union or the European Economic Area).
Legitimate interests pursued by the controller
The video surveillance at Vienna Liaison Office in Brussels is carried out to ensure the security and protection of the property of the Vienna House and the employees and visitors working there. This includes protection against unauthorized access, vandalism, theft and other security risks. Surveillance also serves to prevent and investigate criminal offenses and thus represents a legitimate interest of the Vienna Liaison Office.
The processing of personal data by means of video surveillance is carried out in strict compliance with the principles of proportionality and necessity. It is ensured that no excessive surveillance takes place and that the privacy of the persons concerned is protected as far as possible. Video surveillance is strictly limited to the entrance area of the Vienna House; sensitive areas such as public goods, toilets or changing rooms are not monitored.
The Vienna Liaison Office has also taken measures to protect the interests of data subjects, for example by displaying clear information signs and making information about video surveillance transparent. The persons concerned are informed about their rights and the possibility of asserting them.
Rights of data subjects
As a data subject, you have the right to access your personal data and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or to object to processing.
