Parking permit – special provisions for holders of an allotment garden (Kleingarten)

You are eligible for a permanent parking permit ("seasonal parking sticker") if you have your secondary residence in a short-term parking zone that falls under one of the following categories:

• "Erholungsgebiet Kleingarten" (recreation area – allotment garden),
• "Erholungsgebiet Kleingarten ganzjähriges Wohnen" (recreation area – allotment garden for all-year round living),
• "Erholungsgebiet Badehütte" (recreation area – bathing hut),
• "Gartensiedlung" (garden settlement), or
• "Gartensiedlung Gemeinschaftsanlage" (garden settlement with communal amenities)

Please note that your primary residence must still be in Vienna for this provision to apply. The requirements for application are the same as for the short-term parking - permanent parking permit ("Parkpickerl") for residents.

The permit for allotment garden holders ("Saisonpickerl" - seasonal parking sticker) is only granted for the gardening season from March to October.

If you have obtained a "seasonal parking sticker" (parking permit for your secondary residence in the allotment garden), you are still entitled to a parking sticker for the area of your primary residence. If you submit your applications for parking permits for your primary and secondary residence at the same time, you must submit them to the Municipal District Office (Magistratisches Bezirksamt) of the district of your primary residence. If you only apply for a seasonal parking sticker for your secondary residence, you have to submit this application to the Municipal District Office (German) of the district of your secondary residence.

If you submit your applications for the parking stickers for your primary and secondary residence at the same time and for the same vehicle, you only pay the administrative fee once.
