Hirschstetten flower gardens - dream wedding venue

You can celebrate your wedding in the Florarium of the Hirschstetten flower gardens, a splendid park that extends over 60,000 square metres and features a variety of beautiful flowers and plants. Couples can choose between three outdoor venues for their wedding: the Wedding Garden, the Indian Garden or the Mexican Garden. In case of bad weather the 700 square metre large Palm House is at your disposal as an indoor alternative.

In the Palm House you can walk beneath southern palm trees, observe the survival strategies of plants that grow in the dry and rocky Mediterranean landscape, or explore the world of tropical plants and the fascinating animals that live there.

The outdoor gardens provide a beautiful and sheltered venue for weddings. In some details, they resemble US wedding venues, while at the same time reflecting timeless elegance. The entrances are decorated with rose arches, a white picket fence, separating the area from the rest of the flower gardens, guarantees privacy for the wedding party. The plants used in the wedding garden are known to have a particularly long flowering period. Their pink, blue and white blossoms provide an attractive backdrop for the most important day in your life.

The Hirschstetten flower gardens are run by Municipal Department 42 – Parks and Gardens of the City of Vienna (MA 42).

Organisation and fees

Please contact the organiser of your wedding venue to discuss venue rental fees. There will also be additional fees for the wedding at the register office when you give notice of marriage.
