Wine bars, which are known locally as “Heuriger”, are an integral part of Vienna. From traditional Heuriger to modern “Buschenschanke”, i.e. stalls located at the vineyards that serve wine, there is a wonderful variety to choose from. The Viennese Heuriger offer the typical range of cold tavern-style specialities and, of course, first-class Viennese wines and fresh fruit juices.
